Can you take different types of mushrooms at the same time?

I always like to think of different functional mushroom types as having their own superpowers. For example- Reishi is the calm and wise one, Cordyceps is the high-energy one, Lion’s Mane is brainiac, and Turkey Tail is the ultimate defender.

Blending different mushrooms together is like joining forces with a whole team of super-heroes.

You just need to find out where you can use the most support, and build the mushroom team that is right for you.

Dosage

So once you choose your type, how do you know how much to take?

Generally speaking, 1-3 grams total of extracted mushrooms is a commonly used and recommended dose. If you’re using different mushroom extract powders, it is easy to mix and match different mushroom types at different amounts to stay within that range.

Of course, if you’re looking to deal with a specific condition, it’s best to talk to your doctor or natural health care practitioner to get specific recommendations.
